Who WEEE are?
We are a non-profit organisation committed to delivering cost effective WEEE compliance on behalf of our Producer/Importer Members. Our members include Importers from the top of the supply chain in the Maltese EEE Market. WEEE Malta represents the majority of the household electrical and electronic industry who have a Producer responsibility under EU WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU to organise and finance the environmental management of their products at their end of life. WEEE Malta is a subsidiary company owned by the Chamber for Small and Medium Enterprises – GRTU. WEEE Malta is fully authorised by the Environmental & Resources Authority.

The WEEE Trolley Campaign
The aim of the WEEE Trolley is to accommodate the public to have somewhere where to place small Electronic and Electric Equipment when they reach their end of life.
EWWR – Bring WEEE for Free – 2016
WEEE Malta won the Best Practice in Recycling Category Award during the Malta Waste Reduction Awards 2017.
